Ferries boss adamant no refunds on remaining balances on pass cards
BC Ferries CEO David Hahn says he won't budge on a policy to take ferry users' expired balances on electronic swipe cards loaded with credits that guarantee a space on all but the most crowded ships. Frances Murray said she was shocked to learn, when boarding a ferry recently, that her card's $700 balance had been taken by the Crown-owned company.
