  Difficulties with E-bay and Amazon? internet message boards | (4)

  Firstly thank you to every respondent to my last question re: my error message and pop-ups. I have taken on board some of the advice and installed firefox and am using that instead of internet explorer. However whenever i try and log onto ebay or amazon they take ages to load or don't load at all. the messages appear at the bottom of the screen 'waiting for include.ebaystatic.com' and 'waiting for z-ecx.images-amazon.com' respectively. Any ideas how to solve this? Thank you.   Why can’t I get on this one site? IP blocked? internet message boards | (5)

  Hi, for the past two days I've been unable to get on this message board I've been using for a long time. My friends can use it ok so it isn't down or anything. It wont open from either of my two computers, in either Internet Explorer or Firefox. If my IP address had been blocked for whatever reason, would that stop me from accessing the site altogether? I'm getting a page cannot be displayed/page not responding message. Thank you. I thought the IP address went by the internet connection, not the actual computer? Both computers use the same connection

  I have noticed on the internet how customer's can leave feed back on message board's like trip advisor for example. What I wish to know do all hotel's have access to a database on customer comments, complaint's profile etc. Even if they have not stayed at their Hotel? What I mean is a central Data base, that has all customer's comment's.   Download limits …? internet message boards | (6)

  I have just acquired a "Web and Walk" USB modem from T-Mobile, I have 3 Gig download limit per month and have just briefly logged onto the internet for around 15 to 20 minutes, I have not downloaded anything, I have just browsed the news and read some message boards and it says I have used 10.96Mb. Does this sound right? If this is the case is there anything I can do to reduce the amount of download?

  Suddenly STARTED SHOWING interest IN YOU and you were only 27? And he starts using the internet TO FOLLOW U AROUND in message boards and stuff... Well he used to work as a moderator on the forum i posted on about politics and stuff and he knew me from there and when I left that place he followed me started emailing me and stuff. So I went back on his work forum and told all the posters and grassed him up to his boss that he was stalking the posters!

  I am a member of an internet forum that is football orientated – so quite “laddy” – and pictures of half naked internet message boards | (5)

  , almost pornographic pictures are occasionally posted. Why, as a male, do I find it distateful? I love sex and love women and am as heterosexual as they come... ...but given the choice between seeing half naked women on a football message board and not, I would rather not. I don't really know why? I think it's perhaps knowing what others masterbatory fantasies are that is off putting. Or is it that the images seem somehow disrespectful? I don't know why. Why do others, if you do, feel that these images are somehow wrong?

  How to stop windows on laptop minimising? internet message boards | (2)

  I've got a toshiba laptop, it runs on windows. Whenever I'm using the mousepad, without warning it minimises all open windows while browsing the internet, anything I'm working on basically. It drives us nuts, but I've no idea how to stop it doing it. Any ideas? It also closes all windows now and again, very annoying when you're in the middle of posting on a message board! TIA, Me :o)

  Can you tell me why it won’t let me cut and paste from the internet into Publisher? internet message boards | (7)

  I'm about to do next month's newsletter for the residential home I work at. Although I can cut and paste text. It won't let me do the same for pictures. In the past it didn't bother me that much as I would print the desired picture out and scan it but my sister dropped my scanner and I haven't been able to replace it yet. You can only use clip art for so long before you're gagging to use a serious picture or a photo. When I try, I get a message saying that the clip board is busy ...

  Hello all, I see somebody with 'Top Contributor' and I also see a few with well over 3000 points for example with for example, their subscription being more than a year. I just wondered really if people come on here in terms of it being part of their life. I mean, in my case, the internet, with these message boards in particular are great to generate instantaneous replies/views/opinions, and well as gaining quick advice. I enjoy coming on here and helping others but admittingly enjoy getting a top answer - it's a buzz for me undeniably. However, I'm just wondering if people spend a lot ...
