Town Meeting approves meals tax

WINCHESTER – Among other actions, a local meals tax and a raise in the charge for a demand for payment were approved on the first night of fall Town Meeting. In addition, a series of budget reductions were also approved as part of the Board of Selectmen’s effort to address a Fiscal Year 2011 budget deficit.
