I’m sorry I don’t know, but my sister has celiac disease (I’m assuming you have it too since you are talking about gluten-free message boards) so I know a lot about it. I always feel bad for her because she’ll never be able to eat something without checking the ingredients, but it hasn’t stopped her from living life. We buy her gluten free foods from the health store (like pizza and pasta; things that she couldn’t eat in their normal form) and we make all of our meals gluten free. Sometimes she does get down because she’ll smell pizza and remember what it tasted like, but she’s gotten to the point where she realized that life isn’t all about food. And your health is the most important thing, don’t forget that. It isn’t worth eating gluten if it destroys your inner organs (and my sister almost got cancer). I can’t really relate, but I have severe lactose intolerance (where I’ll throw up regardless of how much dairy I eat…even 2 drops of ranch dressing) so I can’t eat ice cream, cheese, and all of my other favorite foods. You really get used to it and you’ll find that it gets easier everyday. So don’t get down, and search the internet for message boards, but just remember that this doesn’t have to stop you from living life to the fullest! Good luck.
