Is Detroit school board afraid?
The first question is simple: What is the Detroit Public Schools board afraid of? If its members can go before the Detroit City Council to recite a list of accomplishments, then why are they afraid of letting city residents vote on whether a board should continue to exist?

Ashton Care closure reaffirmed
The Pipestone County Commissioners reaffirmed with a 4-1 vote the decision they made last month as the Pipestone County Medical Center (PCMC) Board to close Ashton Care Center.
