I am going to an all-girl boarding school in the UK.. I went for a ‘Taster Day’ today (its a day where you stay overnight to get an idea of what the school is like) No one seemed very friendly, and I’m not that outgoing. I have tried to socialize and smile A LOT and even make conversation, but the girls just don’t talk to me, and I feel really left out. I’ve even added some of them on facebook, and although they ‘accepted’ the request whenever I sent them a friendly message saying ‘hi, it was nice meeting you today’, …..they never reply back 
Its my first time in Boarding School…….
I really want to make new friends here too especially since I’m going to be a full boarder, and don’t want to always be homesick!!

I used to be the same afraid to make that step to socialise but you really have to just do it! It’s hard and after awhile you’ll find mates and it’ll be the greatest thing you’ll ever do!
And if u get a mate dont worry a real mate will always be there whether you go to boarding school or not. Get there Mobile number txt them, get MSN have a chat

they probably didnt answer u becuz they dont know u.. just be ur self.. and when they need help or u see that there down.. help them.. they will think ur very nice and wanna be ur frind.. :] just be urself. if they dont like the way u are. then they are not the friends that u wanna be around
