I’m about to do next month’s newsletter for the residential home I work at. Although I can cut and paste text. It won’t let me do the same for pictures.
In the past it didn’t bother me that much as I would print the desired picture out and scan it but my sister dropped my scanner and I haven’t been able to replace it yet.
You can only use clip art for so long before you’re gagging to use a serious picture or a photo.
When I try, I get a message saying that the clip board is busy with another application. But usually the only other application open is Publisher into which I’m trying to paste the blooming picture.
Does anyone have any ideas about how I can stop the clipboard from being so busy so that I’ll actually be able to use it?
I’ve tried the ctrl c & v thing and I just get the same message.

r8 becus it tis ****
try using
ctrl c to copy
and ctrl v to paste
this normaly works
if using the right button of your mouse wont work, try ctrl+c for copy and cltrl+v for paste,
Have you tried saving the images to your hard drive and then bringing those saved images into Publisher?
That seems like a pretty simple way to do it.
(just guessing because I’ve never used Publisher)
*for all the answers to your questions go to this site

Close Publisher and restart your pc. Then open Paint. Copy and paste the photos into Paint, save them as Bitmaps in your My Pics folder.
Then close the internet, open Publisher and use them form the My Pics folder.
Fingers crossed!
If all else fails, hit
and paste into a paint program, wordpad or a similar application.
If the clipboard is always busy, you have bigger problems.
The reason it doesn’t work to begin with, is most likely that the picture is copy protected, which means someone has not released the rights. You may get in trouble for using it. Read the disclosures on the website you are trying to pull the pic from.
